Meet the breeder

I'm Heather S., the breeder behind Hope Mountain Pomeranians located in Springfield, MO. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!

Q. & A. with Heather

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents used to show chow-chow's in the 70's and bred chow-chow's in the late 90's. I've always aspired to do the same! When I was 15 my now mother in law gave be a Pomeranian when I was turning 16. She passed 15 years later but she was the best dog. I am so glad to now be able to share the love of a sweet Pomeranian to others.
  • What makes your program special?

We spoil all of our babies, they have free run of the house and backyard during the day. They do not live their lives in a kennel or outdoor setup. All puppies that are born are loved on and exposed to different sounds. We start grooming from a very young age to begin desensitizing them. We also begin puppy pad training before sending them to their new homes. Our adult dogs are fully vaccinated and receive regular veterinary care. We also use Embark testing.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, orange, cream, black, white, chocolate, chocolate sable, blue merle, chocolate merle, and wolf sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
