I'm Charlotte R., the breeder behind HotDachs located in Pueblo, CO. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Dachshund breeders. Matching each family with the right puppy is the key to our success and yours. We are honored to bring another member of the family into your life! We are a family of breeders and have two locations in Colorado and one location in Texas. My husband and I as well as my two daughters breed our mini long hairs!

+5I found Good Dog by chance and found Charlotte by fate! She was amazing to work with! I was originally looking for a puppy for my daughter and her husband for a wedding gift. After we had picked out two puppies (I couldn’t resist getting one for us as well) my daughter lost her GSP 3 year old that was her absolute world. It has just absolutely broken her heart as well as her husband’s and ours. Charlotte met up with us and surprised our daughter. Both my daughter and husband are in love with their little guy Frankie (Mustard) and we absolutely adore our little girl Beanie (Buns)! Charlotte is so kind and sends updates weekly and has amazing pups! Thank you so much for helping us mend some broken hearts!

From start to finish, Charlotte provided first class service all the way!!! Weekly pictures and videos allowed me to be a part of the little puppy phase and get an inkling of my baby’s personality. Charlotte provided Norton with the social skills to be able to fit seamlessly into the pets that I already have. She is the epitome of a great dachshund breeder and you can tell from talking to her that her puppies are very loved. I feel extremely lucky to have found Charlotte and Norton!!!

The process of finding a pup is a stressful one as you have to factor so many things but the most important on my list was the right dog from the right breeder. I did an exhaustive search and was so thankful to find Charlotte. She was awesome at responding to me from when I first contacted her. It made me feel at ease as this was my first time truly owning a pup (grew up with one). It meant I had a lot of questions about the process, the breed itself and etc. Charlotte answered all of them and more. She was proactive with sending updates, sending the contract when the time came, setting up meet-up time and spot, and etc. Basically everything you worry about with the process, she nailed from the start. Astro has been such a great addition to the family and I credit a huge part of how Charlotte socialized him and set him up well for life with his new family. Any doubts about who to get a puppy form, I would 1000% get a puppy from Charlotte again.
