I'm Lauren B., the breeder behind HotShot Kennels located in Okeechobee, FL. At HotShot Kennels, our dogs truly live the best life a dog could ask for. We are proud breeders of Pembroke Welsh Corgis, American Corgis, and Miniature Dachshunds, with a focus on raising puppies who are as healthy in body as they are sound in temperament. Every dog in our program is carefully selected and fully health tested, ensuring that our puppies have the best foundation to grow into strong, happy companions for years to come. Our puppies are raised right in the heart of our cattle ranch, where they are surrounded by the everyday joys of country life. From an early age, they are gently exposed to children, cats, goats, chickens, cows, calves, horses, and other dogs—giving them the confidence and social skills to fit seamlessly into all types of homes and lifestyles. They spend their days playing, exploring, and learning, with plenty of room to run and grow. One of their favorite spots is the creek that runs through our property, where they splash, swim, and build a natural love for water and adventure. We believe that raising puppies isn’t just about producing healthy dogs—it’s about giving them a life full of love, experiences, and purpose from day one. Our goal is to provide families with well-rounded, socialized, and health-tested companions who will bring joy, laughter, and loyalty to their homes for a lifetime.

Lauren has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lauren partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Our pricing varies depending on a few factors, including registration, coat, and color. For Corgis, prices are based on: • Registration (AKC or CKC) • Pet vs. breeding rights • Coat length (standard or fluff) • Color/markings (solid, mismark, dilute, merle, or dilute merle) For Miniature Dachshunds, prices are based on: • Registration (AKC or CKC) • Pet vs. breeding rights • Coat length • Color (we produce all colors, with breeding rights often reflecting specific color genetics buyers are seeking) No matter the registration, coat, or color, every puppy is raised with the same love, health testing, and attention to temperament to ensure they become wonderful companions. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve the specific puppy of your choice. This deposit is applied toward the overall purchase price and ensures that the puppy is held exclusively for you.”
Lauren may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Lauren offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Lauren directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
