I'm Kristen W., the breeder behind House of Paws Heritage Nursery located in Knightdale, NC. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

Why did you start breeding?
My grandmother bred Apple Head Chihuahua in my younger years. I enjoy the entire process of breeding.What makes your program special?
I’m very personal & transparent when it comes to my program. I genuinely enjoy my fur babies. I do FaceTime / Video Chat visits at any time. We also do in person visitation starting at 4 weeks.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are brown. Shih Tzu puppies include black, liver, blue, red, red and white, and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristen
Kristen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $950 - $1,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“All babies are priced differently. Please message to inquire about puppies. ALL fur babies come with vaccinations and vet visit. Puppies also come with a care package of amazing goodies. Willing to do payment plans. Reservation fee REQUIRED if you’re interested in a fur baby that isn’t in heat.”
Contract & health guarantee
Kristen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kristen offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Kristen directly.
