Meet the breeder

I'm Stacy H., the breeder behind Howard Hills Doodles located in Hannibal, MO. I truly love what I do. For me, breeding is about so much more than producing beautiful puppies—it’s about raising happy, healthy, well-loved puppies and finding the right family for each one.

Q. & A. with Stacy

Why did you start breeding?
y journey into breeding actually started with my Highland cattle. I fell in love with genetics—the challenge of thoughtfully pairing animals and seeing how color, structure, temperament, and other traits could be passed from one generation to the next.
What makes your program special?
What makes our program special is how much thought and care goes into every decision we make. I’m fascinated by genetics, and I spend a tremendous amount of time researching each pairing. I’m not just looking for beautiful puppies—I’m considering health, temperament, structure, size, coat, color, and how each generation can improve upon the last.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, chocolate, black, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
