I'm Anjelica B., the breeder behind Howlin' Wolf K9's located in Jasper, AL. I am striving to give my dogs a purpose. I strive to provide veterans and kids or adults with a versatile dog that can not only push cattle or do agility in a ring, but to stand by their side and perform tasks that aid them in their disabilities. I breed versatile, loving dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
My family has bred hounds for generations, mainly for hunting but also for family pets. I guess you could say I've followed in my family's footsteps but started with Australian Shepherds.What makes your program special?
My program focuses on utilizing our dogs great minds and strong spirits to show the world that aussies and foxhounds can be more than they're depicted as. Our pups are suitable for becoming service dogs, therapy dogs, and all-around great family companions, not just hunters or herders w/ proper training.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Price includes 1st + 2nd set of puppy shots, health guarantee, ASDR registration depending on Dam / Sire, puppy pack, deworming, and socialization until the pup goes to their forever home. The deposit will go towards the puppy of your choice. Remaining fees will need to be paid at pickup. The deposit is nonrefundable and is put towards your dog's well-being, socialization, and training.”

Program update on 10 June •…Our always so gorgeous Lilly is enjoying her well-deserved retirement here at home, claiming the futon as her own personal bed. She may have only had 1 litter for us, but that's okay! She did amazing as a first time mom at yes, 5 years old. A lot of planning went into her only litter, so we don't mind that it took an extra 2 years to have. That litter was also nearly 2 years ago now (July 14th), and this ol' girl will be 7 come the 30th (June 30th), but never ceases to amaze us. During her retirement, she's been helping teach her son Basilor, and our newest addition Tsukiko, how things are done around here, who the boss really is, and when it's time to settle down rather than play.

Program update on 10 June •…This handsome man was a keeper from a previous litter Lilly had back in 2024. Family kept me from posting them on gooddog as they didn't believe in finding the right homes. They just wanted the litter gone at the time. Basilor is growing up to be such a fine young man, beloved my all, and takes his role as a psychiatric & medical alert service dog very seriously. He will be tag teaming with our lovely Tsukiko - the young catahoula leopard pup - as Bas is sadly too small to aid in mobility. In the video, you can see he's learning how to work "off-leash" in case he needs to be, and he has a brand new harness that he will get to officially wear when out in public. All he's missing is the matching halter (completely conditioned to it), matching leash, and new patches for the harness but our old ones will do just fine for the time being. Planning to get him his OFA's around the end of 2026 to the beginning of 2027, along with his own genetic health testing. Even though he is "cleared by parentage", we believe it would be best to have his own genetic health screening. Stay tuned for more updates!

Program update on 10 June •…This gorgeous girl has joined our program and is currently still in evaluation on if she will be a permanent member of the breeding program, or if she will end up as just a member of our pack with a purpose and a job as a mobility aid.

Son of my very own River Lilly Lullaby aka Lilly. He is an outgoing, overly friendly boy who knows when it's time to work, and when it's time to play. He is currently being trained as a psychiatric and medical alert service dog just like his own mother.

About Lilly
Lilly is a smart and very protective girl. She holds herself high and doesn't back away to new and challenging obstacles. She is a 100% task trained in-home service dog for medical and psychiatric alert. ie. alerts to low blood sugar, anxiety, depression, and PTSD attacks. She stands 19.5" - 20" tall Due to the inability to get her parents registration info, we will be hardshipping her into ASDR hopefully in 2024 prior to her first litter.

Tsukiko is a female Catahoula Leopard Dog 4 months old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Anjelica decided to make her part of their program. Anjelica has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
