Q. & A. with Haylee
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first mini dachshund (Maggie) and fell in love with the breed. I started wanting to be able to raise them from the beginning. it’s something i’m very passionate about and only the best of the best people will be allowed one of my puppies. I’m very particular about who gets one.
What makes your program special?
I raise all of my adults from puppies. So I know their temperament very well. All of my dogs have been to my work with me, I work at a vet clinic. With living rurally I am able to allow my dogs to be dogs and run as much as they want outdoors. We camp a lot so our dogs go with us and are exposed to so many things.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
