I'm Michelle R., the breeder behind Huckleberry Farms Shelties located in Germantown, TN. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. They tend to be on the smaller side as well. We raise our shelties in a loving household, with lots of family and children around. They are held, loved and cuddled until the day they go home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started my breeding journey with Shelties in 2020. I knew I could better the breed and wanted to spread the love I shared with my pack. Little did I know how cute and irresistible their babies would be!

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is built on integrity and honesty. My dogs are all health tested, AKC registered and live in my home. We are located just outside Memphis, Tn. I am happy to meet you with your pup. We are closest to Memphis International Airport. I do offer travel nanny services as well. Please reach out to discuss.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white and sable and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Michelle

Michelle has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Males are $2000, Females are $2200. I ask for a nonrefundable deposit because it keeps my buyers serious."

Michelle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
