Why did you start breeding?
In Spring 2023, inspired by our daughters’ passion for Australian Shepherds, we took over Huckleberry Hill with a clear mission: to raise family-friendly Aussies that reflect the highest standards of health, temperament, and versatility. Breeding became a way to blend our love of dogs with intentional living and shared family purpose.What makes your program special?
We produce limited litters, each raised in our home and loved by our children. Our puppies are bred with purpose, raised with intention, and leave us confident, well-socialized, and ready to thrive. We implement early neurological stimulation and prioritize AKC standards, sound structure, and lifelong placement—ensuring every pup reflects our values and care.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“This price includes microchipping, first round of shots, deworming, as well as a puppy welcome kit for new owners. All puppies are the same price regardless of color, sex, and eye color. . Welcome to our 24-hour "puppy love sanity check" policy! If you fall head over heels for a puppy but later decide the timing's off, we'll happily refund your deposit in full within the first 24 hours.”

Leeli is one of our first puppies from Bella and Seb. From just six weeks old, she has displayed remarkable herding instincts and a strong desire to please. Leeli has a natural guarding tendency; while she may be reserved around new people, she quickly warms up once she recognizes your trustworthiness. She is fantastic with children and gets along well with our other dogs. Leeli and Banjo have been inseparable friends since the start, and we love watching their playful interactions. With a solid and balanced temperament like her mother, we are eager to see the wonderful pups she will produce in the future.

About Banjo
Banjo is a confident, people‑loving boy with a steady, easygoing temperament. He enjoys working with his people, has a solid toy and food drive, and handles new places without missing a beat. His movement has that classic Aussie look—athletic, efficient, and very true to the breed. He’s a handsome black tri with rich copper and clean markings. At 22 inches and 62 pounds, he’s well‑balanced and solid. His structure, movement, and temperament make him a great fit for our program and what we aim to produce.

+5I cannot recommend Huckleberry Hill Aussies enough! We lost our sweet aussie at the start of 2025. In late summer, I finally started the journey to welcome a new pup into our lives. We were still mourning but we missed having a second dog in the home and our GSP/chocolate lab was ready for a new friend. I didn’t think it would happen so fast but when I first picture of Reed, I was in love. Savannah was so wonderful and responsive when I reached out to inquire more about him. We ended up having a call the same day and she listened thoughtfully when I told her why we were looking to add to our family. It was so obvious how much she knows about this breed and how intentional she raises these puppies to be companions. Reed was a bit different than her other adoptions as he was originally reserved but due to a change in the family’s circumstances, Savannah and her family had him for longer than normal! She was able to tell me so much about his temperament, what he liked, tricks he knew, and you could tell immediately the love and care and work her family had put into this dog. She answered all my questions and shared stories about how he had been her daughter's little buddy, and I was hooked. By the end of the call, I was ready to bring him home! Savannah made the process so seamless! A few days later we brought him home. He’s been a part of our family now for two months and he’s brough such joy to our lives. We’ve renamed him Buckley, Buck for short and it’s so fitting. We love him, he’s the happiest boy, he gets along great with our other dog, he loves walks, frisbees, and visiting new restaurants and parks! We cannot thank Savannah enough for raising him and bring us together!
