I'm Jon H., the breeder behind HuntRidge located in Boise, ID. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they have the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

Why did you start breeding?
It is hard to fall in love with a specific breed and not want to share that. If I can help others to have what I have, I will have made a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Choosing the right families is key. If you haven't experienced unconditional love in your life, it is only because you have never owned a miniature schnauzer!What makes your program special?
As one who competes competitively in the show ring, I understand the importance of thoughtful selection of the parents of each litter to continually improve my bloodline. I am proud of the excellence in quality of my puppies. I am confident that they will bring happiness and joy into the lives of their forever families, just as they do in mine. Both dam and sire of my puppies are AKC champions.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are salt and pepper. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jon
Jon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price includes first two series of puppy vaccination. microchipping. It also includes tail doc and ear cropping for that sharp schnauzer look. Refundable until 7 days before puppy delivery.”

Jon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. About Sunny
Sunny is a female Miniature Schnauzer. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Jon decided to make her part of their program. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
