I'm Alison M., the breeder behind Idaho BA Labradors located in West Haven, UT. We breed Labradors because we absolutely love them! We focus on breeding healthy pups with amazing temperaments and intelligence. Our dogs are the perfect combination of looks, smarts, agility, and athleticism. They are naturally birdie and overall amazing family dogs. We own both mom and dad. They have great bloodlines with multiple national field trial champions, great hunting drives, and most importantly, they are amazing family companions!
Q. & A. with Alison
Why did you start breeding?
I have owned Labs my entire life and have always held a special place in my heart for them. When I got my female a few years ago, that love exploded! She is everything a Lab should be. I decided then that I wanted to breed her so that others could experience how amazing these dogs truly are. When we found Gunner, my male, we knew it was a match made in heaven. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others!
What makes your program special?
My program is small and home-based. Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. I care deeply about my dogs and puppies, and I do everything I can to ensure they get the best lives possible -- that includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. I strive to provide each of my puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
