Q. & A. with Billie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was extremely lucky with the couple dogs that I had got from my niece. It snowballed from there. I have awesome breed mentors I defer to constantly. I’m very thankful for their guidance.

Since April of 2025 I have completed UKC Championships on two dogs (a third needs one more win)! A group four placement (runner up in the hound group). BOV, Multiple BOB, 2 POA,Multiple Class wins, BOS, ranked NOHS, UKC SPOT, CGC, CGCA, CGCU, TKN, TKI, VHMP, VHMA, AKC points off memory. At this point I have 200 placement ribbons including Rosettes with 4 possibly 5 remaining shows for Fall 2025.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our German Shepherd puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Dachshund puppies include wirehaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our German Shepherd puppies include sable, black, and bi-color. Dachshund puppies include sable, red, wild boar, brindle, wild boar and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Working with Billie was great. She was very responsive answering all questions and providing updates regularly. She provides so much at pickup and support after pickup, if you are looking for a breed she has, I highly recommend her.

Billie responded quickly to all my messages, and answered all the questions I had about the puppy. He was very professional and facilitated a very smooth transition to get the puppy to me over 800 miles away! The only improvement I have for Billie is to notify if the pup is coming home with fleas. A courtesy of letting me know would of helped alot to prep for when I got the puppy. Other than that I am super happy with my new pup. She really has opened up and it shows that she comes from a high caliper pedigree. Thanks Billie!

Billie was quick to respond to any and all my questions. The transaction was very easy. Setting up delivery was a little confusing, but we got through that okay too. Overall, I would say it was a good experience.
