Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind InnerVision K9 & Dachs located in El Paso, TX. I strive to produce top quality, loving, family, pets, with a working edge. I have a passion for training dogs! My experience includes military working dogs, personal protection work, and training hunting dogs. I wanted to look into breeding, because I would be able to provide the public with well trained and healthy family pets and working dogs.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I used to go to a lot of AKC shows, and I believe that it is a very fulfilling experience to title a dog. My dogs are also my life, and I feel that everyone should experience the joy and longevity of a well-bred companion.

  • What makes your program special?

    My Gooddog is still in progress, not all of the health testing is uploaded at this time. I appreciate your patience and understanding! I do fully health test my dogs, including OFA testing, two forms of genetic testing, cardio, eyes, etc. Disclaimer! Please be advised that OFA covers a range of health testing, and is not just limited to joints.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Micah

Micah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“As of 14 AUG 2025, my puppies are PET ONLY. Pups come with age-appropriate vax, deworming, health cert from a licensed vet, chip, and ENS. I require a notarized contract and copy of DL upon completion of sale. Holding fees, deposits, and final puppy payments are NON REFUNDABLE. Transfers are at Breeder's discretion.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Oh gosh I can't say enough positive things about Micah From our first contact, it was clear she prioritize the health and well-being of her puppy’s. She was very knowledgeable about the breed and answered all my questions thoroughly. The puppy we brought home is happy, healthy, and well behaved.
