I'm Casey A., the breeder behind Isalyn Dachshunds located in Copperas Cove, TX. We have a small in-home breeding program since 2021. Our hearts are with piebalds. Dachshunds have owned our hearts since 2011. We are dedicated to providing our families with beautiful healthy pets. We specialize in piebalds and breed conformation.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We absolutely fell in love with the breed. I also have a passion for pregnancy and childbirth. When we started homeschooling our children, we decided to start breeding dachshunds as a way to teach our children about biology, genetics, responsibility, economics, etc. Our whole family is involved in taking care of these precious creatures of God.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate, chocolate and tan, black and tan, black and cream, chocolate and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Casey

Casey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Casey partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration, the first round of shots, deworming, and a fun puppy pack full of goodies. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. The only difference is whether they are sold with limited or full AKC rights.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
