Why did you start breeding?
My family has been breeding and showing Shih Tzus for over 40 years. My husband has been breeding Akitas for 30 years. I fell in love with the Akita breed and knew responsibly breeding them for others to love was something I wanted to do. I can't imagine life without breeding these wonderful pups.What makes your program special?
We focus on pure AKC Akitas with great temperaments and big bear heads. Through creating an environment of serenity and care for our puppies, we know we are able to give each precious pup the very best chance to reach their potential, express their unique personality, and have a loving, well-rounded temperament.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We have the joy and blessing to have purchased our first Akita from Shauna . He has proven to be stable in many challenging situations that have proven him to be an excellent Service Dog. He is a registered Service Dog and protects Anthony that is traumatically brain injured since childhood in every way. We are so pleased we are purchasing a female to be picked up in August. This dog will be an emotional support dog for me if all goes well. If you ever wondered where you could get a good Akita look no longer , Ishikawa Akitas are wonderful.
