Kimberly P.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Kimberly P., the breeder behind Island branch white labs located in Pylesville, MD. Our dogs are raised in our home and personality and health is the most important thing to us. We want puppies who are well mannered and who would fit in a home with any age. Our puppies are smart and very easy to train and fit into any environment possible. They are prepared for their new homes from an early age!

Q. & A. with Kimberly

  • Why did you start breeding?

We want to continue to improve the English Labrador breed and provide a healthy, calm dog for other families to enjoy. We spend the time perfecting our breed so that other families can have the benefits of our hard work with a healthy companion, show, hunting or service dog!
  • What makes your program special?

All of our dogs are raised on our family farm around our 4 young children. They are exposed to so many things at a young age. We make sure the studs we use have the same sound disposition as our females to ensure puppies that will be great for anyone.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
