I'm Meghan R., the breeder behind Its Scot To Be Love Scotties located in Eagle Lake, FL. Every one of our puppies is raised in a loving environment where health, socialization, and early training are top priorities. From potty habits to beginner agility, we give them the best start—so they’re more than ready for their forever families.
Q. & A. with Meghan
Why did you start breeding?
We wanted a dog, but our youngest is allergic. We tried many “hypoallergenic” breeds with no luck. At a Highland Games, our son met a Scottish Terrier and had no reaction! We got one, then another. Later, an unexpected litter stole our hearts, and now we raise Scotties—fun, loyal dogs our son can safely snuggle.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because we treat each puppy like our own. We start early with agility training, socialization, and potty training to give them the best start in life.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include wheaten, red brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Dougal
Meet Dougal — the ultimate cuddlebug with a heart of gold. 💛🐾
Dougal is a pure sweetheart who melts right into your hands at the gentlest ear scratch. His absolute favorite thing in the world? Snuggling in close and soaking up every bit of love you’re willing to give.
He’s also a big fan of cool breezes — catch him lounging in the wind and you’ll see pure joy. A little clumsy, endlessly charming, and full of goofy personality, Dougal keeps us smiling and laughing every single day.
Life is just better with a Dougal in it. 💕
Willow, mom

About Willow
Willow is a little spitfire is full of energy and charm! Her favorite game is fetch, and if she had her way, she’d keep the ball rolling from morning until night. She’s also a big fan of car rides—ears flopping, nose to the breeze, and pure joy written all over her face.
Though she may be small, don’t be fooled—she’s mighty, brave, and bursting with personality. Whether she’s chasing her ball, hopping into the car for a new adventure, or snuggling up after a busy day, she brings laughter, love, and excitement everywhere she goes. 🐾❤️🐾🎾
Piper, mom
Scottish Terrier
About Piper
Meet Piper — our laid-back lady with a heart full of love. 💕🐾
Piper is the definition of calm and cozy. She lives for snack time, adores her naps, and firmly believes that bedtime is the best time of day. But don’t let her chill vibe fool you — when there’s water nearby, Piper is always ready for a splashy adventure!
When she’s not playing or snoozing, Piper takes her role as house protector very seriously. With a watchful eye and a loyal spirit, she’s always on alert, making sure everything is just as it should be.
She’s gentle, devoted, and just the right mix of sweet and sassy — our Piper girl is truly one of a kind. 🐾💖
