Meet the breeder

I'm Meghan R., the breeder behind Its Scot To Be Love Scotties located in Eagle Lake, FL. Every one of our puppies is raised in a loving environment where health, socialization, and early training are top priorities. From potty habits to beginner agility, we give them the best start—so they’re more than ready for their forever families.

Q. & A. with Meghan

  • Why did you start breeding?

We wanted a dog, but our youngest is allergic. We tried many “hypoallergenic” breeds with no luck. At a Highland Games, our son met a Scottish Terrier and had no reaction! We got one, then another. Later, an unexpected litter stole our hearts, and now we raise Scotties—fun, loyal dogs our son can safely snuggle.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is special because we treat each puppy like our own. We start early with agility training, socialization, and potty training to give them the best start in life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include wheaten, red brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
