Meet the breeder

I'm Kelsey F., the breeder behind Itty Bitty Dachshunds located in Canton, TX. We breed high-quality puppies. We love what we do and are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.

Q. & A. with Kelsey

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have grown up around dachshunds. My first dog I had growing up was a dachshund and I’ve just had a bond with them ever since. My grandmother has bred dogs my entire life and I always loved watching her raise up puppies and seeing the excitement on the new owners face when seeing them for the first time. I truly enjoy this hobby of mine. It’s full of blood, sweat, and tears but I’d do it again.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are my family. I can’t imagine a life without them in it and all the chaos they come with. The puppies I bring into this world are raised in my home, and ALWAYS welcome back with open arms. When you decide to choose one of my babies, you also become family. I love each and everyone of my past babies and their new families. I hope to add more.😊
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, fawn (isabella) and tan, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
