Why did you start breeding?
I have been researching, training, and working hands-on with this breed as a professional trainer for over four years. With a strong foundation, I now offer a limited number of litters annually, prioritizing health testing, temperament, and early dev. My goal is to produce well-rounded puppies with sound temperaments, correct structure, and strong starts through early training and socialization.What makes your program special?
My program is different because it is rooted in training, not just breeding. I understand how dogs develop, how behavior is shaped, and how genetics and environment work together. That knowledge carries through every step—from pairing decisions to puppy placement.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Micah
Micah has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
"As of 14 AUG 2025, my puppies are PET ONLY. Pups come with age-appropriate vax, deworming, health cert from a licensed vet, chip, and ENS. I require a notarized contract and copy of DL upon completion of sale. Adults will not come with anything but age appropriate vax, chip, and a sample of food. As of January 1, 2026, I will only selectively place puppies with California buyers. Fees breakdown: State health certificate: $120 Sales tax: 6.5% of puppy price Good Dog reimbursement fee: 8.5% love puppy price Transport fee: $1.50/mi Boarding fee: $30/day. Holding fees, deposits, and final puppy payments are NON REFUNDABLE. Transfers are at Breeder's discretion."

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We are so happy with the decision to work with Micah and to bring Quail home as a new member of our family. Micah is a really dedicated breeder and trainer. We are busy working professionals and were worried about having time for a puppy. Quail was a sightly older pup, exactly what we were looking for. Micah spent time with me on Facetime so I could get to know Quail and see more of her personality, during those calls I could see how loving and dedicated Micah is to all of the dogs in her care. Quail was fully trained. Our first walk on the leash she was right at my side, and she was fully potty trained. I would recommend Micah and M's Dachs over and over again.

We just picked up our sweet little puppy and couldn’t be happier! Micah was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process.
