I'm Michele K., the breeder behind Ivy Willow Dachshunds located in Atwater, OH. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. They are raised in our home and are loved as family. Why did you start breeding?
It all started 32 years ago with 1 little long dog and we knew we were hooked.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, piebald, red, wild boar, black, chocolate, brindle, wheaten, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?

Michele has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes 1st and 2nd sets of shots, all wormings, vet exam, sales contract, written health guarantee, vet records, microchipped, food, toys, leash, dishes, blankies, folder with all necessary paperwork. Deposits are required to hold your pup until he/she is ready to go home. All deposits are non-refundable unless their is a health issue after puppy goes to their vet exam. No deposit is required if pups are already ready to go home, in that case they can just be paid for in full.”

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Animal Genetics Panel, DNA Profile
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
