I'm Amy H., the breeder behind IvyCane Yorkies located in Bakersfield, CA. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Yorkshire Terrier puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!

Why did you start breeding?
My grandmother bred terriers and poodles when I was young and I helped her welp. I absolutely love the newborn stage and strive to better the Yorkie breed . Erect ears, healthy and excellent temperaments is what I strive for in my program.What makes your program special?
When you get one of our babies you become part of our family. I love to watch these babies grow as much as you do. We will have a Facebook page for our fur family so we can share pictures.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue and gold and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"Price is to be determined after 6 weeks of age. All deposits will be applied to the purchase price of the puppy. Refundable half the deposit in special circumstances. Deposits can always be held for future litters."

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
