I'm Carri S., the breeder behind J & C Puppies located in Breda, IA. Hi everyone! We are a family that raises teddy bears (shih tzu part bischon) and miniature daschunds located near Breda, Iowa. Our family has had experience raising puppies for over five years now! We raise them in the house around other kids and other dogs! They are definitely very well loved and make the perfect family pet🥰.

Why did you start breeding?
We never really planned on getting into breeding dogs. We had a male and female and it just happened unplanned the first time. It went over so well that we just kept going with it.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family pets. They all live in our home and are treated like our kids. We have seen puppy mills where the dogs are caged up outside and in outbuildings. We do everything we can to not be like that.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies include cream, brindle, and black and tan. Shichon puppies include cream, black and white, and brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price for the puppies is $1100 for males and $1200 for females. The pup will have the first set of shots and deworming before it goes to its new home. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of size or color.”

Carri may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
