Meet the breeder

I'm Kalee J., the breeder behind Jackson's Dobermans located in Spencer, IN. Jackson's Dobermans is an AKC breeder located in Spencer, Indiana. I strive to provide healthy, stable, balanced dogs, and to produce lowest functional COI and to maintain genetic diversity. My primary goal is improving and preserving the breed's diversity, temperament, health and heritage.

Q. & A. with Kalee

  • Why did you start breeding?

Being around Doberman from my youth, my passion for animals and dogs was deeply engrained. My first Doberman started a personal quest for breed education which developed into a passive for the breed preservation and future. Thus, Jackson's Dobermans was created!
  • What makes your program special?

I take the health of my dogs into consideration before breeding to ensure parents and puppies are their healthiest. Dams receive exceptional pregnancy care, including daily vitamins. I am also certified in animal nutrition, canine behavior, and more. I never breed for color or size nor do I breed or promote breeding white, z-factor, melanistic, and off standard colored dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
