Kate G.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Kate G., the breeder behind Jamboree Labradors located in Belvidere, IL. We are a small hobby breeder striving to produce and preserve the excellent structure, type, health, and temperament of Labradors. Our dogs are shown in AKC conformation and participate in hunt tests, rally, dock diving, and therapy work. We are dedicated to breeding sound, healthy puppies with the versatility to be calm family pets as well as participate in a variety of fun venues and fieldwork.

Q. & A. with Kate

  • Why did you start breeding?

We wanted to put our passion for Labs to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine.
  • What makes your program special?

At Jamboree Labradors, we produce excellent companions. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We are also constantly improving our breeding program and work closely within the Labrador Retriever community to do so.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
