I'm James B., the breeder behind James and Denise's Shih Tzus located in Stockton, MO. Our dogs are members of our family and are right by our side for daily life. Our experience with them inspired us to share their affectionate personalities with other loving families!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My wife had to give up her dogs due to a sickness she got. She was told she was highly allergic to dogs and was heart broken. After a couple years of not having one I decided to do some research and found Shih Tzu's are very hypoallergenic so we decided to check them out. My wife held a puppy by her face for 45 minutes with no reaction. Sassy was our 1st Shih tzu with more to come. We decided to breed this amazing breed so other could get all we did.

  • What makes your program special?

    We have our Shih Tzu's in our home and on our laps as true members of the family. We only have one or two litters a year and our puppies live in home with us. There is rarely a time that we are more than a few yards from them. Our puppies are never on paper or dirt. We have puppies on towels and blankets from day 1 and we have a electric and water bill to prove it. 😉

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tricolor, chocolate, black, gold, silver and white, liver and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
