I'm Jessica H., the breeder behind J&E Dachshunds located in Roanoke, AL. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. All of our parent dogs are health tested, and we only breed those with the best temperaments. Our puppies are handled daily, so they are well socialized and loved.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have been around & loved dachshunds my whole life. I knew from a young age that it was my dream to raise them.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of our dogs are raised & live inside our home with us. They are pampered with love and attention every single day. All of our pups go home pre-spoiled & full of love.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and cream, blue and cream, black and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jessica

Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jessica partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppies come with Limited AKC registration papers, 30 days of complimentary Trupanion insurance, first puppy vaccine, dewormed, vet checked, microchipped, and a starter bag. Deposit is non-refundable, but may be transferred to another puppy or litter at the discretion of breeder.”

Jessica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
