Meet the breeder

I'm Jen T., the breeder behind Jen Trinque's Afghan Hounds and Tibetan Terriers located in Loveland, CO. I've been showing amazing quality dogs for 30 years and counting and I have even apprenticed under top handlers! Some of my accomplishments include piloting Best in Show dogs as well as finishing numerous class dogs. I truly love all animals, and I am so excited to share my passion and purpose with others through my ethical program!

Q. & A. with Jen

  • Why did you start breeding?

Purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy preservation of any dog. It is important to me not only that I preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come. Every litter is always a little different, but it is so fulfilling to see the different personalities and such a joy and challenge to hand-raise each puppy. I love watching them blossom!
  • What makes your program special?

My program is built with love, care, and intention from the ground up. I have decades of experience working with dogs and love to apply my knowledge to my program as well as share it with others. The quality of my puppies reflects the conscious decisions I make throughout every part of the breeding process. I am happy to tell you more about what life with one of these dogs is like and how they will not only enhance your daily life, but exceed your expectations!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
