I'm Jenny S., the breeder behind Jenny's Shih Tzus located in Elma, WA. We’re a small family breeder raising our puppies in our home with daily love, handling, and socialization. Our goal is to help each puppy grow into a happy, confident companion and find a forever family where they’ll be loved like one of their own. 🐾.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I absolutely love the shih Tzu breed and wanted my kids to experience the amazing beauty of helping to preserve this breed and to understand biology a bit more.

  • What makes your program special?

    Hi! I began breeding in 2008 after falling in love with the joy and companionship dogs bring to families. I’m a small in-home breeder focused on quality over quantity, raising no more than one litter per year so each puppy gets plenty of love, attention, and socialization.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red and tan, chocolate, black and tan, red and white, gold and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jenny

Jenny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jenny partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Buyers are welcome to video "chat" with the puppies or come visit them at my home when choosing the right one. All will be well handled and used to other animals and children so if you select your puppy just from photos, I'm sure you will absolutely love them even without getting to know them first.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pricing for our dogs includes AKC limited registration, their first shots, and deworming. They will come with a care package and my support if you have any questions as you raise your puppy. Include registration, AKC packet, first vaccinations, deworming, and puppy starter kit.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jenny may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
