I'm Lisa N., the breeder behind JetCity Manchester Terriers located in Enumclaw, WA. We are a small hobby breeder located south of Seattle, on the lovely Enumclaw Plateau. One of the joys of owning these smart little dogs is being able to participate in so many different venues. They are always ready for the next adventure, and always willing to go there with their beloved owners!
Q. & A. with Lisa
Why did you start breeding?
As an adult, I had Doberman and bred a few litters. I have had Manchester for 17 years and have bred many litters. I am an AKC Breeder Of Merit dedicated to producing healthy, happy dogs. I have bred many Grand Champions, Agility Champions, Obedience, Rally, Lure coursing titled dogs.
What makes your program special?
The Manchester Terrier is a low number breed with a minuscule gene pool. I have done a ton of importing and exporting to Europe to widen the gene pool. I have an extensive pedigree database (22+ generation) that allows me to track COI. I also work on breeding dogs with good minds because they must be trainable. Most of my dogs go to pet homes, they must have good temperaments and be healthy.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
