Meet the breeder

I'm Kaitlin R., the breeder behind JK Mini Doxies located in Bellville, OH. We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

Q. & A. with Kaitlin

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was raised with dachshunds as our household pet, my mom started raising them because she loved the breed so much and that love rubbed off on me and I knew I wanted to follow in my moms footsteps and raise some of these amazing babies.
  • What makes your program special?

We try our best to raise and breed the best we can. A lot of time and consideration goes into planning what parents will be matched together. All our dachshunds are inside pets, we don’t have a kennel. Everyone is inside and surrounded by our family. They get to go to work with me they love having their big fenced in yard at home to run and play whenever they want.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include longhaired, smooth, and wirehaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, red, black, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, blue and tan, blue and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
