Q. & A. with Lisa
Why did you start breeding?
We originally chose the Aussie breed for their working/herding abilities with cattle and sheep. (Awe started our breeding program years ago while owning and operating our Brangus cattle ranch) It became very obvious, though, that the Aussie breed also possesses a way of capturing your heart and becoming so much more than just a ranch dog. Their intelligence along with loving, loyal personalities won us over completely. We enjoy producing excellent Aussies and sharing them with others.
What makes your program special?
We are a very small breeding program structured so that each dog and puppy receives our utmost attention at all times. We remain available to the pup for the remainder of its life, offering to board and even groom it if needed. After almost 10 years of breeding, we have kept in contact with approximately 90% of every puppy produced..including the pups we have internationally in Germany, Netherlands, Russia, Spain and Mexico.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
