I'm Jill S., the breeder behind Johnny's Pets located in Sulphur Springs, TX. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We stand behind the health, structure, and temperament of our puppies and select forever homes that best compliment the unique personalities of each puppy.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My husband and I had a male and female poodle when we had our first child. We had a couple litters of puppies and sold them then at some point my sister gave me a female Yorkie and my sister-in-law gave me a male. We later decided to breed them and sell their puppies. We enjoyed the puppies so much that when I came into a little money, I started acquiring a couple Shih Tzu and a couple Maltese and raised them up to breed as well. We thoroughly love and enjoy our babies and after we no longer had Poodles, we added Pomeranians. After my male Yorkie died, I just started to breed my female Yorkie with my Maltese instead of adding another male Yorkie so now they have Morkies.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are able to provide loving homes with precious pets and many people have come back to us for a 2nd or third puppy over the years. Several owners have purchased a puppy to train as a therapy dog.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Pomeranian puppies are black. Shih Tzu puppies are liver and white. Maltese puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Jill

Jill has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes A.P.R.I. Full Registration, unless it is a mixed puppy such as a Morkie, 1st vaccine and wormer plus a small sample of Eukanuba puppy food for small breeds. It also includes a receiving blanket, treats and 24 to 48 hours to have the puppy checked out by your vet. The puppy will have received his first vaccine. ”

Contract & health guarantee

Jill may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
