I'm Bruce J., the breeder behind Johnston Labs located in Forest Grove, OR. We’re hobby breeders looking for individuals and families that will continue to love and spoil our puppies as much as we do! We breed with passion and integrity so we’re able to responsibly contribute to growing this amazing breed. It’s important to us to share the gift of living with one of our puppies with other families. Our dogs are from hunt test lines with many Master National Qualifying dogs. We don't do hunt tests but chose to do Dock Diving. All of our dog are tilted with AKC through North American Diving Dogs. They have both been invited to Nationals multiple times. Both of them are very high drive when it's time to go to work and will always give you 110%. When they are home they like to be on your lap and where ever you are. They are sweet all the time. Very smart both of them. I have seen them problem solve things that blew me away! We have kept a puppy from 2 of the 3 litters. The only reason I didn't keep one from the first one is because someone really wanted the girl I picked and my wife said sure. She didn't ask me! That pup got a great home and is doing great!. For us breeding if fun it's not an income and our job is to better the breed and I feel like we have done that with all 3 of our litters. Many of them became Dock Dogs and are ranked Nationally. We love our dogs the are always in our house day and night with us. A dog life should be EPIC! It our jod to make sure it is!

"Price includes first set of shots and all forms to register with AKC and a goodie bag. I will pre register the litter. Deposit goes toward purchasing the pup. I ask for that deposit when I tell you you are going to get a pup. This happens at 4 weeks. If I don't get a deposit I move on to the nest person."
Bruce may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Labrador Retriever
About Si/Silas
Silas is a high drive dog with a very good off switch. He give 150% when it's time to play and is a lap dog when I get home. There has vever been ant type of aggressive behavior from him. In fact when other dogs start being like that he will leave. He has so many achievements I can't list them all. I will list a few. He is about to receive a Dock Master Excellent 9 from North American Diving Dogs. Only 3 other dogs have received that title. He was also tenth ranked in Hydrodash in 2020 and 3rd in breedvrankings. He is that one dog you get in life.
