I'm Travis & Ashley H., the breeder behind Journey’s End Dachshunds located in Shelley, ID. We are a small in home breeder of top quality AKC dachshunds who are pet owners 1st and foremost. Our goal is to help buyers end their dog search journey with a perfect companion. We raise our litters in our home to set the foundation for happy, healthy and well socialized puppies.

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

“The price includes guarantee, AKC registration, first vaccinations, wellness exam by licensed veterinarian, health record, worming and puppy starter pack. Deposits are non-refundable unless an issue arises with your chosen puppy (ie sickness). In that event buyer may transfer deposit to another available puppy or get full refund of deposit.”

    Travis and Ashley were absolutely wonderful to work with. We have been wanting a dachshund for sometime, but wanted to find the right breeders. From the initial conversation with Travis and Ashley I felt they were the ones! From our sweet Benny being 5 days old to picking him up at 7 weeks, we had peace at mind that they were providing the best care for him. They were extremely responsive and open to answering any questions. And the best part is they provider weekly updates of our sweet guy. So even though we didn’t get to be with him as he grew I felt we were already connected by how communicative Travis and Ashley were.
