I'm Joshua S., the breeder behind J&R Springers located in Lake Park, GA. At J&R Springers we health test our dogs in order to provide healthy and quality genetics. We focus on temperament, working skills, and basic training. Our dogs are our pets and we are proud to provide others with the same love and companionship we enjoy from our Springers. So we breed both to provide families with loving and capable companions and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.

Why did you start breeding?
My brother rescued a Springers and I absolutely fell in love with her. I have owned other dogs growing up, but none compare to the love and sweetness of Springers. I love how active they can be outside but just as gentle and calm inside and always loving. After I had a few ESS of my own I decided I wanted to breed them so I could be with them more and share healthy Springers to others.What makes your program special?
I take the time to make sure all puppies are healthy and loved. I DNA health test my breeding dogs to make sure they don't have any bad traits to pass down. Puppies are raised in home with me where I can keep a close eye on them 24/7.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Joshua
Joshua has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price varies depending on color of puppy, as well as registration. All puppies will be AKC registrable and come with a health certificate and goodie bag. A non refundable $100 deposit will hold and garuntee your puppy. If at anytime you change your mind and back out of getting the puppy after the deposit is made you forfeit it.”
Contract & health guarantee
Joshua may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Judge is just a sweetheart, he has more European lines so he is content just laying around. He is very patient and easy going and somewhat of a goofball. He loves being held and some attention but he doesn't have to be right beside you all the time. He doesn't meet a stranger.

Retta has is sweet and loving, she doesn't meet a stranger. She loves kids, gets along with other dogs and loves to play. She is Tri-roan in color with a longer coat. she has a thick bone structure but is one of my shorter dogs.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
