  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding when I bought my first dachshund and seen that he could have been breed better so I took it into my hands on bettering the breed .

    Here At JUAREZ MINI DACHSHUNDS , we believe quality always comes first\. We focus on health, temperament, structure, and responsible breeding to produce exceptional miniature Dachshunds\. Every puppy is raised with love, care, and early socialization, giving them the best possible start before joining their forever families

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Carlos

Carlos has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Carlos partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price is negotiable. My pups do not come with AKC but they do come with everything up-to-date, including shots and deworming with a Vet check certificate. Your deposit locks in the puppy you choose with a FaceTime and on site visit to lock in your pup.”

Contract & health guarantee

Carlos may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA), Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Carlos was amazing to work with since the initial contact with him. He responded every time we asked something about our new mini dachshund. He made the process so smooth and was very knowledgeable about the breed. We had questions and would randomly ask him something about dachshunds and he answered every single question. He kept in contact and the process was amazingly smooth. We kept the name Woody for our puppy because it fit him so well. Carlos and his family are great to work with and definitely love their puppies!
