I'm Lisa S., the breeder behind Juletoo Border Collies at Meadowcreek Farm located in Killen, AL. Our dogs excel in the ring and as beloved companions. We are very proud of their accomplishments and those of their puppies. Our breeding program stands out because of attention we give to every detail of the journey. From researching breeding pairs and conducting healtpurposefully raising each pup with proper socialcare, our goal is to help preserve this historic breed.
Q. & A. with Lisa
Why did you start breeding?
My Dad brought home two show-quality Whippets when I was 12 years old, in 1964. I showed in conformation and bred my first litter a year later. When I was 18 years old I bred a litter that produced the iconic ASHLEY WHIPPET. Ashley was a Frisbee superstar who captured 3 World Titles, and inspired a wildly popular international pastime for “Man’s Best Friend.”
What makes your program special?
My 60 years of experience breeding dogs for conformation, obedience, therapy dogs, service dogs, and agility.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
