I'm Jaella M., the breeder behind Juno Homestead Aussies located in Cadillac, MI. At Juno Homestead Aussies, we are proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally wonderful puppies we raise for other families to love! Each of our pups is born and raised in our home. They are socialized from the get go with children, older family members, and other pets (including our cat).
Q. & A. with Jaella
Why did you start breeding?
I’ve grown up breeding Aussies my whole life, after having my daughter and seeing her eyes light up the second any dog walks into her view I knew I needed to give her the opportunities that I had. My goal for my family and our business breeding Aussies is just to enjoy a hobby that I love. It also supplies me with the opportunity to stay at home while raising my children. Could it be any better?
What makes your program special?
We take special care in ensuring that each of our pups are raised and loved in a way that makes their individual personalities shine. We don’t try to form our Aussies into perfect replicas of what they “should be” we know that every dog has their specific style and really embrace that! We want our pups in healthy, happy homes, and will go above and beyond in many ways to ensure that happens.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
