I'm Carin & Derrick B., the breeder behind Just home located in Ft. Myers, FL. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I've always loved animals. I've worked with dolphins, Hawks, and I have been a rehabber for orphaned animals that are hurt or young with animals for the Indiana DNR. I've always had critters or kids under foot. I wanted to breed dachshunds because they are so different from other dogs. If you've owned a dachshund, you know what I'm talking about. Experiencing birth to their furever home is so rewarding to me.

  • What makes your program special?

    My babies are treated the very best, by me and their vet. It shows in their personality. My pups are amazing.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
