Breeder of Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Sue K., the breeder behind Just Plain Aussies located in Nottawa, MI. My dogs are bred to work stock. They make great, active companions, working dogs, agility dogs, and all-around farm dogs. I breed healthy, beautiful puppies. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's beloved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family, and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Sue

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for Aussies inspired me to share this breed with the world in a responsible way. I devote my time, energy, and attention to each litter to ensure puppies get the best start in life. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies. I love matching healthy, happy puppies with loving families.
  • What makes your program special?

I truly love the Australian Shepherd breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to bring home one of these wonderful dogs. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance and working venues and have the ability to be wonderful family companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
