I'm Katelyn E., the breeder behind K and D's Legacy Cockapoos located in Bedford, OH. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. We work hard to breed exemplary dogs that are well taken care of from day one and are prepared to excel in loving and caring homes. We love our dogs and puppies, and we strive to place each pup in a home suited to their temperament and ability.

Why did you start breeding?
My 1st dog was a cockapoo and I just fell in love with them. They are amazing versatile dogs that people love and are generally very healthy dogs.
What makes your program special?
We strive to breed for health, temperament, beauty and cuteness. while all these are important, we believe health is the most important. We really don't want our pups to suffer from major health issues in their lives. We offer life time breeder support ,any issues or any advice related to dogs we are more than happy to help!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white, sable, cream, brown, brown and white, brown and tan, black and tan, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Katelyn

Katelyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and $1,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes ACC registration, vet exam before going home, round of immunizations, deworming, 3 year health guarantee, a puppy pack which includes food enough to switch to your food of preference, a toy, blanket with siblings scent, some puppy pads, 1 can of food, 1 bag of treats. The deposit is in order to insure the potential puppy owner is serious about the commitment towards the purchase. The deposit is applied towards the full price of the puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Katelyn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Daniel and Kaitlyn have proven to be responsible and professional breeders of cockapoos. Throughout my wait time for dear little Libby to come to her forever home, Daniel sent pictures of her, answered all my questions in a very timely manner...usually that day, and was extremely accommodating in meeting us part way to pick up our puppy since we lived 4 1/2 hours away. Our puppy, Libby, is healthy, alert, VERY energetic (although, looking at some of her pictures she seems to be sleeping a lot...but she needs her beauty sleep, since she's a baby and is still growing! She is getting along famously with my Aussiedoodle, Atticus, and is always ready to play and chase! Oh...and she loves to play in water! She even sticks her whole head in the big water bowl we have for our chickens to fetch her red ball! She's amazing, and we adore her!
