I'm Julie N., the breeder behind K Rae's Dachshunds located in Lady Lake, FL. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding because of the love I have for the dachshund breed. They are the spunkiest, stubborn, affectionate little guy's around. They may be little but their personalities shine bright!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are our family. I am with our mama's every step of the way from birth through puppy rearing. I am always in contact with the babies from birth to give them the best start in life. I asist the moms with delivery and sleep next to our babies for the first 3 weeks of life. These babies are my passion and I put my heart and soul into each one.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), gray (blue) and tan, chocolate and tan, blue and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Julie

Julie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes health certificate from our vet, first set of vaccines, negative fecal exam, all health records, some toys, blanket from mom, and food sample. Our deposits are NON refundable. They are there to ensure the pup will go to a great home when they are released for placement from their vet.”
