Meet the breeder

I'm Zach K., the breeder behind K4 Kennels- British Labs located in Blue Earth, MN. We offer top-quality British Labrador Retrievers. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on strong hunting and retrieving pedigrees supported by generations of top-performing Labs in AKC, HRC hunt tests, and field trials. We are dedicated to providing puppy owners with healthy dogs that strive to please and become loyal family members!

Q. & A. with Zach

  • Why did you start breeding?

My father bred Labs when I was growing up, so it felt natural for me to start my own program and continue on with the legacy. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are phenomenal sporting dogs and their hunting, dock diving, field training, and retrieving abilities are really strong in my line. In addition to their ability, I also place an emphasis on producing dogs with excellent health, structure, and temperament. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the British Labrador Retriever line!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Zach

Zach has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Zach partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Ultimately the decision for matching a pup to a family is up to the buyers based on first come first served basis. We do our best to educate the buyers on which pups have shown different characteristics in which they are looking for. Typically, we allow buyers to set up a Meet and Greet appointment after the pups turn 6 weeks.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,550 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Included with the puppy are the 26-month health guarantee, the first round of vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, AKC registration, family puppy socialization, and Early Neurological Stimulation on days 3-16. A deposit required to hold a spot for a puppy.”

Zach may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
