Q. & A. with Harmony

  • Why did you start breeding?

While growing up we always had dachshunds. In fact my parents and grandparents were very small dachshund breeders. My passion for dachshunds started as a young child and grew as I became an adult. My program began with my first dachshund Piper which was a gift from my grandpa. As the years have gone on we have focused on bringing in quality dachshunds and always improving our breeding practices.
  • What makes your program special?

At Kaibab Dachshunds we have brought in the best possible Dachshunds into our program to produce confident, healthy and quality pups. Our pups are born and raised in our home ensuring proper socialization and early training. Our pups start our training program at 3 days old and continue through the time they go home. Our early training program promotes healthy development and confidence in pups.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, black and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
