Meet the breeder

I'm Rose G., the breeder behind Kailyn Shelties located in Hobbs, NM. We are breeding with a purpose of higher quality according to the breed standard. All of our dogs are health tested for a better quality of life. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.

Q. & A. with Rose

  • Why did you start breeding?

Through members of the local dog club, it was strongly emphasized to study bloodlines, bone structure, and temperaments before breeding. After a couple of years of researching and attending dog shows, I was able to distinguish what I wanted in my breeding bloodlines and program for the correct movement, temperament, and proper bone structure. Therefore creating healthy generations of healthy puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

The time and research that is taken when developing a certain bloodline, in a breed of puppies. In which the outcome is a healthy, sound temperament, proper structure, and movement in puppies. Success for healthy puppies and owners.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black white and tan and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Hi Rose, Kessler is settled in and doing well with my other two shelties. It was great working with you, you have beautiful shelties and answered all my questions with superior knowledge about the breed. Everything went so smoothly it was an absolute delight and a great pleasure to meet you. I am so lucky to have one of your shelties, you can tell he was raised with love and great care. I look forward to continuing to keep you updated about Kesslers progress as he grows to adulthood. Thank you so much!!!
