I'm Kait S., the breeder behind Kait Standal located in Coatesville, PA. Border Collies have been a part of our daily life for 20+ years. With a focus on health, athleticism, temperament, and talent, our Border Collies have competed in sheepdog trials and found homes on working farms. They’ve also found success in agility and as beloved family pets. We are dedicated to providing high quality dogs that meet your expectations—whether that is working in the field, hiking a trail, winning in sports, or thriving as an important part of your family.
Q. & A. with Kait
Why did you start breeding?
Carefully bred for talent, temperament, and working ability, all of our dogs are family raised, well-socialized to other pets and strangers, outgoing, and friendly. They have done well on the farm and often travel with us for both work and pleasure. From competition to flyball to agility to being a beloved member of your family, our puppies are suitable for many environments and lifestyles.
What makes your program special?
Our Border Collies are registered with the American Border Collie Association, which is the original US registry for this breed, and have imported and champion bloodlines in both parental pedigrees. Relatives are competing and winning in USBCHA and ISDS trials in the US and abroad. Our pups will thrive as your competition dog, workout partner, or best friend.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include rough and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Faye
Faye is an amazing girl who loves having a job and whether I am at the barn, working in the backyard, or spending time at my desk, she's usually working right alongside me. She is playful, affectionate, and always ready for a couch cuddle. She was started on sheep as a young dog and showed great promise. I switched to agility and she took to it beautifully. When I travel she travels with me, is always ready for a hike, and loves a game of fetch.
