I'm Brittany H., the breeder behind KaloKalo Cardigans located in Bixby, OK. KaloKalo Cardigan Welsh Corgis is a preservation breeding program devoted to protecting the heart, structure, health, and temperament of this remarkable breed. Our dogs are health tested and purposefully planned. Puppies are home-raised, well-socialized, and loved from day one. We proudly show our dogs and thoughtfully place puppies in companion, performance, and show homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I began my journey working under a preservation breeder, learning the importance of structure, health testing, and breed standard. Through showing and mentorship, I saw how remarkable Cardigans truly are. I wanted to be part of protecting and creating dogs that bring the same loyalty, joy, and stability into other families’ lives.What makes your program special?
Our program is built on mentorship, hands-on learning, and deep respect for the Cardigan’s temperament and loyalty. We health test, actively show, and thoughtfully plan each litter with beauty, structure, and breed standard in mind. Our puppies are raised in our home and carefully matched to families seeking steady, devoted companions.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle and white, sable and white, blue merle and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Brittany
Brittany has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Brittany partners with them to find the best puppy match.

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required once an application is approved. The deposit secures your place on our reservation list and is applied to the total purchase price. Remaining balance is due at pickup.”

Brittany has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 3 (rcd3), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
