I'm Kelly D., the breeder behind KanDew Yorkies located in Texas. We focus on intentional breeding so that we can produce quality puppies that are excellent representations of the standard. We are responsible breeders who are passionate about our dogs! They’re central to our lives, and we are proud of their accomplishments. We enjoy participating in conformation events and staying involved in the breed.

Our puppies are blue and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"This price includes our guarantee, paid AKC Limited Registration, AKC Reunite Chip with paid lifetime registration, Embark genetic testing, Go-Home veterinary check-up, all applicable puppy vaccinations, preventative dewormings, first heartworm preventative, puppy socialization based on Puppy Culture, and a Premium Canvas Go-Home Bag stuffed with toys and essentials including a Snuggle Puppy (heartbeat) Junior and an AKC informational folder. We breed to preserve, protect and promote this historic breed. All our puppies are the same price regardless of sex and are bred to meet the YTCA standard for Yorkshire Terriers with lovely Blue and Gold silk coats. Once a holding fee is accepted, you receive regular video and photo updates of your puppy until go home day."

Parent health testing
Excellent level
KanDew Yorkies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Yorkshire Terriers.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
