I'm Kat K., the breeder behind Kat's Corgi's located in Smithville, TX. I am a small in-home breeder. My girls are my babies and I take very good care of them. I want to have good healthy pups that go to great forever homes. I love the Pembroke Corgi and want to share that love with others. I am retired so I am a stay at home Corgi Mom.
Q. & A. with Kat
Why did you start breeding?
After falling in love with the Pembroke Corgi and finally getting my first girl Reba, I realized they were like potato chips "you can't have just one". So I got a second one and her name is Zoe. I looked for just the right male for my Reba and had a litter and fell in love with puppies. Between Reba and myself I think we taught them to be good puppies and were ready to go to great homes.
What makes your program special?
I love my girls and I take great care of them. I am here to ask questions and when I have a litter people are welcome to come and look at the puppies if they live in the area and want to take a drive. I handle the puppies and make sure they are given all the worming and shots at the right time. My girls are my life and they bring me so much joy and I want to share that joy with like-minded people.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
