I'm Sarah S., the breeder behind Kazuri Beagles and Cavaliers located in Woodinville, WA. We are lucky enough to have a small, hobby kennel located approximately 15 miles north of Seattle in Washington. Our dogs are primarily our pets, spending their days relaxing on the couch. They are part of our family, and any puppies are raised in the same way, in our home. Our goal is to produce quality dogs that not only look beautiful, and are healthy, but also have the temperament that will make them a life-long member of your family.
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
When my husband and I felt that we were ready for our first Beagle, we contacted a local breeder. She didn’t have any puppies, but she had a retired show dog. That was our introduction to the show world. He ended up being neutered and I started again with a female but it ignited something in me. I found great mentors who gave me books about the structure and taught me about health.
What makes your program special?
I think what sets us apart is the personal touch. When you buy a Kazuri puppy, you become part of the family. Not just with me, but they often connect with each other.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Beagle puppies include 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Beagle puppies are black tan and white. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
